We’re excited to announce that The Color Network is working with CSB/SJU on an exhibition called Muliebris, which explores ideas around femininity.
DESCRIPTION: The Color Network seeks proposals for ceramic artwork to be exhibited at CSB/SJU in St. Joseph, MN in spring 2023. Titled Muliebris, the Latin word for woman, effeminate, feminine, TCN invites artists to submit work that speaks to expansive definitions of femininity. The feminine can be interpreted in many ways: from personal introspection to social constructs, from the casual to the academic. TCN hopes to curate an exhibition that considers intersectional viewpoints and resonant artwork for this topic.

This call is for artists who identify as Artists of Color. No fee to apply, and all shipping costs up to $300 USD will be reimbursed to the artists who can provide a W9.
JURORS: This open call is juried by Akiko Jackson, Cassandra Scanlon, and Jess Cheng.
TIMELINE:
